Johnvents Group, a multinational agribusiness and manufacturing firm, has acquired Nigeria’s oldest cocoa processing plant, Premium Cocoa Products in Ile-Oluji, which has a capacity of 30,000 metric tons.

This move is part of the company’s strategy to enhance the quality of Nigerian cocoa for global competitiveness. The Group’s Managing Director, John Alamu, emphasized their commitment to sustainable development and value creation across the agricultural chain.

In addition to this, Johnvents acquired Noble-Eagle Industries in 2023 to diversify into edible oils, cereals, and other food products, and also established an international trading hub, Johnvents Industries DMCC, in Dubai. The company aims to transform Africa’s agribusiness landscape through innovation, integration, and sustainability.
